Nike SB Dunk Low Pro B Skate Shoes - Sequoia/Sequoia-Light Army-White
Nike SB are back with another iteration of their iconic Pro B silhouette, this time in a Sequoia/Sequoia-Light Army-White colourway. Before the SB Dunk Low, way back in ’99, came the sneaker that influenced it all. Nike SB have made the decision to throw it back to the ‘90s and ‘00s with an homage to the momentous Dunk Low Pro B.
The classic silhouette paved the way for the SB line of Dunks; with a new fatter tongue and more padding than its predecessors, as well as added elastic straps, it was quickly adopted by skateboarders and subsequently informed design decisions on the SB Dunk Lows.
The signature padded tongue adds extra cushioning and more comfort; an Sequoia premium suede wraps the upper, with a subtle contrast of Light Army is found on the tongue and collar.
Moving down the shoe, Dunk-typical cupsole construction moulds the upper to the sole, with a Light Army foam midsole adding a lightweight cushion to the shoe. Underfoot, the gum outsole features classic pivot circle treading to help add durability and grip, whilst a Zoom Air Unit sits in the sockliner.
Finer details are the defining factor of SB Dunk Lows and here it is no different. Embossed white leather heel tabs are contrasted with black Nike SB branding. The same colours are matched on the tongue tags, and, completing the shoe, the oversized laces lean into the off-white theme.
